Bethany College 2024 Football team on the bleachers of the Coach Ted K. Kessenger Family Stadium

Mike Grossner was coaching football and running a pub in Europe when something of a Mayday distress message alerted him by phone. It was from his alma mater back in Lindsborg, Kansas. An old friend and member of the Bethany College Board of Trustees, Mark Lysell, Class of 1974, sensed the old Swedes quarterback might have the formula to put some might back in the program.

Bethany College will conclude a year-long vocational reflection initiative funded by a $15,000 Professional Development Grant from the Council of Independent College's Network for Vocation in Undergraduate Education (NetVUE). The culmination of this programming will feature a keynote presentation by Dr. Mindy Makant, a distinguished professor and leader in vocational studies, on Wednesday, August 21, 2024.

Bethany College is pleased to announce an upcoming art exhibit featuring the works of Irene Nielsen, running from August 26 to September 27, 2024, at the Mingenback Art Center on the Bethany College campus. The exhibit is free and open to the public, with gallery hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The artist invites the public to the Gallery for a reception on September 27 at 4:15 p.m.
