Director of Academic Services

Chad Moore is the Director of Path to Your Purpose (PTYP) at Bethany college. The PTYP Office develops and delivers academic programming that challenges students to discover and pursue their unique sense of purpose. In this role, Chad directs the Pathways Internship program, Career Services, Experience-Based Education, and Study Abroad.

Chad holds a B.A. in Religion and Interdisciplinary Studies from Hardin-Simmons University and an M.T.S. in Religion, Culture, & Personality from Boston University. Chad is currently a PhD candidate completing a dissertation in the Religions in American Culture program at Boston University.



Prior to joining Bethany, Chad worked in Residence Life at both Boston University and College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. Chad’s previous higher ed experiences include serving as a teaching fellow, tutor, research assistant, admissions coordinator, and member of the university maintenance staff. Chad's diverse experiences working as a teacher, live-on student affairs professional, and academic affairs administrator have given him a deep appreciation for the wholistic educational framework of liberal arts colleges like Bethany. Chad strives to maintain hope in the promise of higher education to transform lives and form responsible, curious, and compassionate citizens who work toward a more equitable and just society.
