Embracing Change for a Better Tomorrow: Bethany College Partners with CLA to Streamline Business and Financial Aid Operations

November 8, 2023

Lindsborg, Kansas – November 7, 2023 – In a strategic move toward enhancing the quality of education and improving the overall student experience, Bethany College announces its decision to outsource two vital departments, the Business Office and Financial Aid. This transformative transition is set to begin on November 7, 2023. Bethany College's primary mission is to develop, educate, and challenge our students to live lives of purpose. In today's ever-evolving higher education landscape, the complexities of financial management and regulatory compliance have grown exponentially. In response to these challenges, Bethany College has chosen to partner with Clifton Larson Allen (CLA), a renowned expert in financial services and consulting.

"The decision to outsource the Business Office and Financial Aid departments is not taken lightly, and we are profoundly grateful for the dedication and commitment of everyone who has served at Bethany. The unwavering support and tireless efforts of these individuals have been instrumental in supporting the needs of our students," states President Elizabeth Mauch.

This strategic partnership will enable Bethany to streamline financial processes, ensure compliance with changing regulations, and allocate our resources more efficiently. By entrusting the Business Office and Financial Aid operations to CLA, we can better serve our students within an evolving financial landscape. CLA underwent a rigorous evaluation by the administration and select board members and has emerged as an exemplary partner for this endeavor.

Bethany College remains steadfast in its dedication to our community, and this partnership will allow us to maintain our unwavering commitment to providing quality higher education while ensuring the financial stability of the institution. Our core mission is to empower our students to thrive, and this decision will help us do just that. We thank you for your continued support and trust in our institution. Together, we will continue to nurture and guide future generations toward a life of purpose and success.
