BETHANY COLLEGE ANNOUNCES ACADEMIC CALENDAR UPDATES

October 23, 2020
LINDSBORG, KAN., October 16, 2020 – Bethany College recently decided to make changes to the academic calendar. “Upon reflection of the necessity for continued COVID-19 precautions, we decided to approach the spring semester very similarly to what we have done this fall by eliminating breaks. Our hope is to encourage students to stay on campus and not travel extensively, said Dr. Adam Pryor, Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs.

The biggest dates to make note of are: interterm will begin January 4 and end on January 22. The spring semester will begin slightly earlier than originally planned with classes starting January 25. There will be no spring break and the last day of final exams is May 6. Baccalaureate and commencement are planned for Saturday, May 8, but due to COVID-19, specific plans have not been finalized.
