Bethany College Announces Giving Day, March 6th

February 23, 2024

Mark your calendars because Giving Day is just around the corner on Wednesday, March 6th! Giving Day is an exciting opportunity for us to come together as a community and make a lasting impact on Bethany.

Our goal for Giving Day is ambitious, and we're confident that we can achieve great things with your support. Our target is to raise over $175,000 and gather 500 individual donors. Every dollar and every donor counts, bringing us closer to reaching our shared objective.

This year, we're thrilled to announce a special initiative with Giving Day - the Bethany Backers Project. Here's how it works:

  • For every gift over $50, the Bethany Backers Project will receive an allocation of $25.
  • The remaining portion of your donation will contribute to the annual fund.

For example, if you donate $200, $175 will directly support scholarships, and $25 will go towards the Bethany Backers Project. The Bethany Backers Project has yet to decide on the specific project for this year.

The Bethany College Alumni Council is collaborating with the Student Life Office to select a project that will be truly meaningful to our student body. Your contribution will impact the annual fund and play a significant role in supporting a project that enhances the student experience.

Stay tuned for updates as we reveal more about the Bethany Backers Project in the coming weeks. Your generosity and commitment to Bethany make a difference, and we can't wait to see the collective impact we can achieve together on Giving Day.

Thank you for being a vital part of our community and your continued support.
