Bethany College Expands Business Department with Notable New Hires

Lindsborg, Kan., May 13 - Bethany College proudly announces the appointment of two distinguished faculty to its Business Department. Edwin Quinn, DBA, and Frank Gersich, Ed.D, CPA, join the faculty, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to fortify the department's commitment to academic excellence and innovative business education.


Quinn joins Bethany College from Miller-Motte College in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he served as an educator for over 20 years, specializing in Management, Marketing, and Organizational Leadership. Gersich brings over 40 years of teaching experience in Accounting and Finance to Bethany College's Business Department, focusing on Senior Accounting Courses and Finance curriculum.


"Both Edwin Quinn and Frank Gersich are exceptional additions to our Business Department," said Associate Professor of Business Brian Powers. "Their dedication to academic excellence and passion for teaching will undoubtedly enhance the learning experience for our students and contribute to the continued success of our department."

Bethany College is proud to announce the return of sideline cheer, launching with the 2025–26 academic year. Leading the program is newly appointed head coach Patricia Smith, an experienced educator and cheer coach. Sideline cheer will return to Bethany’s home football and basketball games.

Bethany College is pleased to announce the appointment of Audrey Saxton as the new Assistant Professor of English. Saxton earned both her Master of Arts and Ph.D. in English from Penn State University, where she taught courses in writing and composition, world literature, and pre-1800 literature.

Bethany College is pleased to announce the appointment of Megan Case as the new Assistant Professor of Religion. Case earned her doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin in 2016 in Ancient Mediterranean Religions with a graduate portfolio in Women's and Gender Studies.
