Brenda Meyer Joins Bethany College Advancement & Alumni Team

LINDSBORG, KAN., August 09, 2021 - Bethany College is excited to announce that Brenda Meyer has joined the Advancement/Alumni Office. New to Kansas, but not new to higher education, Brenda brings 8 years' experience in higher education administration to the office. Serving in multiple roles at colleges in Arkansas and Iowa, she is excited to build bridges and make connections on behalf of Bethany College as the Director of Development responsible for planned giving and endowments. Inspired by the story of Lindsborg's early Swedish immigrants coming to framtidslandet, the land of the future, and the dedication of Dr. Carl Aaron Swensson to establish a learning institution for their community, she intends to carry forward the vision of Bethany College to our donors and beyond. Bethany College President Laura Crawley will deliver a State of the College Address to open the Svensk Hyllningsfest and Homecoming Weekend festivities at Bethany College, unveiling a new strategic vision to address emerging challenges and opportunities for the future.
Bethany College welcomed more than 265 students from 16 high schools across Kansas to campus on October 2 for the annual Bethania Choral Workshop, a tradition that has been inspiring young musicians for more than 15 years.
