Biography 
Andrea Ring began working as an adjunct professor at Bethany College in the spring of 2009. In the fall of 2009, she joined the faculty full-time. Ring became chair of the psychology department in fall 2013.

Ring received her Bachelors of Science in psychology in 2002 from Fort Hays State University and her Masters of Science in clinical psychology in 2005, also from Fort Hays State University.

Ring worked as a clinical psychotherapist at Salina Regional Health Center in the Intensive Outpatient Program for four years prior to teaching.  She continues to maintain her professional license and work in field of mental health.

At Bethany, she teaches classes in general psychology, developmental psychology, abnormal psychology, counseling and behavior modification.  Ring helped to establish the new addiction counseling major in 2012 and currently functions as the program coordinator. She also serves as the faculty sponsor for the Bethany College Psychology Club.
