The Stan and Pauline Talbott Swede Society

Founded by Stan Talbott ‘46, and Pauline Talbott ‘41, the Stan and Pauline Talbott Swede Society encourages Bethany College alumni to make annual donations of any size. It was their hope to increase giving because they understood how donations from alum would increase the likelihood Bethany might receive grants. Below is a video of Stan and Pauline’s son, Doug Talbott ‘66, being interviewed by Darren Burch ‘05 and Olivia Peterson ‘13 who are current members of the Alumni Council. Bethany College is proud to announce the return of sideline cheer, launching with the 2025–26 academic year. Leading the program is newly appointed head coach Patricia Smith, an experienced educator and cheer coach. Sideline cheer will return to Bethany’s home football and basketball games.
